Carpinteria Farmers Market Thursdays 3-6:30 PM - Year round weekly farmers market on Linden Avenue every Thursday, offering a colorful bounty of fresh produce and flowers locally grown.

Carpinteria First Fridays - Festive and fun first Friday of each month celebration along Linden Avenue. Sidewalk sales, refreshments and entertainment from all participating restaurants and boutiques. Live music and fun for kids!

Santa Barbara Polo Club - Located in the picturesque Carpinteria foothills, you don't have to be a member to enjoy world class polo in a stunning setting. The Santa Barbara Polo Club hosts prcatices and tournament games throughout the week from April - October. The public is welcome on all of these days. Most recently the club was in the world news for it's visit by Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. Prince William played at the club as a member of Team Royal Salute.

Carpinteria city pool - Visitors are welcome to swim at the wonderful community pool at 5305 Carpinteria Avenue, just a few blocks from Linden Avenue. Plenty of activity for kids, seniors and adults. Carpinteria Surf camp June 13 - September 5 - Surf Happens, of Carpinteria, offers summer day camps to teach the fundamentals of surfing in a safe and rewarding environment. Held at Santa Claus Lane, in Carpinteria, at one of the areas most beloved beaches. Consistent break combined with lack of hazards creates a world class learn-to-surf wave. Private or group lessons are also available.

Carpinteria Rods & Roses classic car show Saturday July 2, 2011 - The 14th annual classic car show, 100's of beautiful, classic cars line Linden Avenue in this annual classic car show competition. Cars, flowers, food and family fun!

Carpinteria Avocado festival October 7,8 & 9, 2011 - The annual Avocado Festival, 1986 to present, has evolved into one of the largest festivals in California with three full days of fabulous food, music and family fun. Located on Linden Avenue, in the heart of the small beach town of Carpinteria, the festival draws over 100,000 visitors each year.

Carpinteria Orchid growers - Carpinteria has one of the best orchid growing climates in the world. Carpinteria growers Gallup & Stribling, Orchids Royale and Westerlay orchids all welcome visitors and have beautiful orchid arrangements available for public viewing and purchase.
