Many of Carpinterias special events are held right on Linden Avenue. The lush tree lined street, centrally located within the comunity, makes for a lovely backdrop for events such as the weekly farmers market held Thursdays year round from 3-6pm.

Linden avenue is also host to larger events such as the annual Avocado Festival each October as well as the wonderful old American car show, Rods and Roses held every June. Old american cars ie. Woodys line the street all the way to the beach in this annual event. Pedestrians stroll along enjoying a small snapshot of American history.
